Finally the Orono Royal...and other such unpleasantries....

Well I got up at 5:30am on Saturday...and was at the farm at 6am to get peaches ready for the royal. Poor thing, we had to give her a bath...so didn't the others. All the heifers were miserable and wet. But she was all pretty for the show. I place 5th with her. She was acting up of course. I think it was because of the show halter, i had her on the regular nylon one all morning and she was doing well. But the second i put the show halter on she was throwing her head all over the place and being a major bitch! Wouldnt stop, kept trying to run me over *grrr* I am thinking that if I left my rope halter on, I may have finished better. But no good saying if this or that.

Anyways...My Animal Nutrition final went well. I think i'll get alteast a B in the class. I'd like to get higher, but i'm not sure if i will. Some ASSHOLES stole all but one of the copies of the old exams. So I wasn't as prepared as I was for all the other classes. There were 5 copies of old exams. And since he tends to recycle questions on his exams I usually go over all the questions of all the old exams, and it gives me a good advantage on the tests. (i did that and got a 93 on the last one...so it works) but this time i only had ONE! *grr* so i think i got ATLEAST a 70...but if i had the others i would have been in the 90's again AND would have gotten an A in the class... SOOO pissy! There is WAY to much information to feasibly study it all.

Oh well, I have another Final this afternoon. Not to worried about that one though, its for the class that I had to show Peaches in. Most of the class was hands on stuff, and he had said as long as you come to all the classes you really can't get a bad grade. I went over all the stuff yesterday so I think i'm in pretty good shape. *phew*

Its been a crazy last few days. Velvet flipped over in the trailer! and could have potentiall broke her neck...LUCKILY though she only has some minor bruises, no cuts, no injuring her back or lameness THANK GAWD! and then yesterday glo finally got the electric fence working for the dog pen (they kept escaping) and Alibi ended up getting caught in it somehow. By the time glo turned the fence off, he was having seizures! So she brought him to the Emergancy Vet...he had hemoylytic anemia (probably do to lysing of the cells with the electricity) BUT he has recovered and came home this morning again THANK GAWD! Craziness! is all i have to say about that.

Then i'm talking with my mother and my "mentally" challegned step sister wants to have a baby. Keeps telling everyone she wants to have a baby. She has Cerebral Palsy, so for the most part she is just has very slow reaction times, has a 7th grade reading level, and its taking classes to learn how to live by herself. They are arranging a group home for her to live in. She is not exactly the type of person you would want having a baby. She has temper tantrums, is very unreliable, and acts as if she is 12. I can't imagine how she would be able to support or care for a baby, not to mention what would happen if she got mad at it. I could very welll see her killing it. I remember when I used to live at home she'd get pissed and throw things at the cat or dog! *phew*!

My mom of course thinks they should have her "fixed" I couldn't believe it when she said that! I was like MOM! you can't do that. No she shouldn't have kids,,,, but you can't just fix her, shes not a dog. Even though there is a huge population of babies needing to be adopted. whatever her having a baby is just NOT cool....I guess mom caught her and her boyfriend (also mentally challenged) in the woods about to have sex (yes its alittle cold for that outdoors right about now, but i guess she doesnt care...and ticks??? ew!) unprotected. She is really all about this having a baby thing...and i'm really worried she is going to end up pregnant in the not to distant future...*sigh* alright time to do other things, and take my mind off of depressing thoughts!
