HOME!

Finally my two exams are done and I am home. My animal diseases exam was completely true and false. Whats up with that shit. I didnt study for a true/false exam. AND this is a 400 level course! I shouldn't be taking true/false exams. We will have to wait and see how I did however.

Blah I am just so happy to be home with the Dew :). He is a good guy. We had to put his 19+ year old cat down on Sat. He was obviously upset about it. I was too, I've been living with him just under 4 years so I obviously have grown attached. "She", yes thats her name, was a good kitty, and the vet said that she had almost NO bloodpressure when we brought her in so she was probably not going to last more than a day or two anyways. We had noticed she hadnt been eating as much lately, and just recently there was a HUGE drop in body condition. She lived a long good life though so I am not complaining really.

I bought some new fish to add to the fishtank. Secretly I did it because I knew it would make him happy. Its a 75 gallon, and was a bit sparse with colorful fish, so we got 4 sunburst platties, 2 female black sword tails (we have 1 male and 1 female red sword tail already, dont need another male) and a little albino cory cat. He is really small, very cute ;).
Goosers are doing well. Its so great to see them again. We let them out to play yesterday it was a riot! I miss having them run all over the place just causeing trouble! Abner's diet seems to be working. When we adopted him this summer we brought him to the vet, and he wieghed in just over 16lbs!!!!! So he is on a diet. Still has a HUGE poanch (sp?) but seems thinner. He needs more excercies. The Kitten (aka: pussy incognito) is doing well too. Just as lovey as ever. But they are still staking their own territories and will NOT have anything to do with each other *sigh*. Ok thats it for now, get to work at the daycare tomorrow. Can't wait, its pug day AND I absolutely LOVE the pugs!

Ra Interviews CONTINUED!

The last of the RA interviews were today. Yesterday was the group sessions, and today were the individual interviews. We did 4. One of them was absolutely amazing. WE LOVED HER! so she just has to be hired. 2 were eh....not that great but if they waited a year and had training they would probably be ok. And one of them was like um NO WAY! I hope some of the other interviews went better. We have atleast 30 ra's that need to be replaced and just under 100 canidates...and if every group was like ours.....thats gonna suck!

I should find out tonight when AVC applicants (like moi) will be interviews. AVC is assitant village coordinator. Basically an RA with special powers hehehe. They get an Apartment and have more responsibility. I have a good chance to get hired. and I REALLY WANT IT!!!! so i better get it ;) hehehehe. Ok dressage meeting soon, then RASDs (Resident Assistant Staff Development). *Poof*

Ra Interviews

We held RA interviews today. My group of six were all good potentials. Two moreso than the others, but they would all be good. Can't say the same for the rest of my staff, they had many bad interviews. They had atleast one okay person though sos it wasnt all a waste of time. Tomorrow is one on one interviews. Thats it for now, fanconi paper, math homework, livestock review, and two exams to work on. More at a later date.
